Based in the US,&nbsp;Guesst&nbsp;allows brands to \u2018pop-share\u2019 an existing retail space, thus reducing the time and cost involved in organising a traditional pop-up. <br><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side of the coin,&nbsp;<g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">Guesst<\/g>&nbsp;provides brands&nbsp;<g class=\"gr_ gr_165 gr-alert sel gr_gramm gr_replaced gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"165\" data-gr-id=\"165\">with <\/g>the opportunity to make the jump from e-commerce to physical retail less financially burdensome. When you consider the cost of hiring staff, plus renting a space (in the right neighbourhood for the right price), it&#8217;s easy to see how this concept is inviting. Brands simply send products to retailers to sell on consignment &#8211; and the retailer takes care of the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enticing customers into stores is clearly a concern facing all brick-and-mortar retailers&nbsp;today. So&nbsp;what\u2019s the draw for retailers? Without the burden of inventory, retailers can theoretically use the platform to&nbsp;leverage their own space and staff whilst injecting newness into the customer experience. To stand out from online competitors, we&#8217;ve found that retailers cannot rely on&nbsp;being a transactional space &#8211; attracting new customers is about delivering unique in-store experiences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of&nbsp;<g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">Guesst\u2019s<\/g>&nbsp;major partners, Steven Alan, is itself&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lambertandassociatesgroup.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=6cc03e60e43f16ac40b2124f1&amp;id=5be506a33c&amp;e=808770ec96\">undergoing a substantial downsizing<\/a>. Over the last two years, the retailer has closed a majority of its stores across the US, shuttered its wholesale operations and terminated its optical licence. Steve Alan\u2019s partnership with&nbsp;<g class=\"gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"6\" data-gr-id=\"6\">Guesst<\/g>&nbsp;could be seen as part of its strategy to rejuvenate the brand&#8217;s in-store offering without the&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this&nbsp;stage, it&#8217;s hard to say whether or not a service like&nbsp;<g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">Guesst<\/g>&nbsp;can turn the tide on dwindling foot traffic as customers prefer the ease of shopping online.
